Working with your teachers
External tuition can be very beneficial if done in co-operation with the way your school is working, but actually harmful if not. With many years of teaching experience Granville understands that outside tutors must find out what topics have been covered but also how they have been approached, and try to reinforce existing methods. Only when it is helpful is another approach introduced.
Granville has good contacts with maths departments in a number of local schools and is happy to talk to your current teachers if that helps, wherever they are.
“Granville always talks to and supports the classroom teacher which ensures that the individual student's progress is maximised”
- Bristol Headmaster
